The April 2008 issue of the Popular Airsoft Magazine is now released! This time
we've got 129 pages of articles and stories. We're writing more and more now
since the Maiden issue, and we're targetting more pages in the next issues.

The NEW DeepFire Full Metal M4 AEGs are available
for PRE ORDER now! Available in 12inch MRF-CX-Carbine, 7inch MRF-C-Carbine and
7inch MRF-C-CQB forms.
DeepFire have previously only made accessories and of course the M72A2 Launcher
and Grenades, so this marks a change in direction for the company. The gun is a
combination of all the best parts from DeepFire, such as the Titanium Piston and
Titanium Teeth as well as the other internal parts. The handguard is apparently
made from German plastics not to mention the full metal body. It shoots 280fps.

We're nearly ready to release our Tornado airsoft hand grenade. It's very combat
effective spewing 180x 6mm pellets in a 3 dimensional scatter.
The Tornado uses a novel method for storing and propelling, and scattering
pellets at high velocity. Twin spiral passages wrap around a machined aluminum
valve body. Individually they store about 90 pellets. If they were unwrapped and
straightened, each passage would measure close to 50cm. This method of storage
is compact and provides a long passage to efficiently accelerate the pellet
charge. You also only have to load two passages with pellets so loading is
reasonably fast. Each passage opens on tangent to the valve body so when the
pellets get blasted out, the reaction force causes the grenade to counter rotate
in recoil. This spinning effect is augmented by two ramp features at the exit of
each passage so they don't end up scattering pellets in a flat disc. One passage
traces a 45 degree cone upwards while the other traces a 35 degree cone
downwards. Random bouncing against the ground when the grenade spins helps
randomize the scatter even more so the distribution is quite spherical.
We've posted a promo video which features high speed videography taken with a
very special camera. The high footage was taken at 3000 frames/sec so it can
really capture the way the grenade scatters it's pellet charge in a room. We had
to use a spindle mount to stop the grenade from running out of frame, but you
can imagine it'd do if it was sitting on the floor when it went off.

Well, it has been a while since last update, I have been very busy trying to
catch up with my work after Chinese New Year and the SHOT show. I am sorry if I
get back to you a bit late for the past couple weeks or so but everything is

the accuracy could be improved.
We also have another version of the Troy AEG, the Troy CQB SPC A5, it equipped
with the 10” free floating rail and a 10.5” one piece outer barrel. This AEG is
for someone who cares about mobility and how to maneuver into the most dangerous
position. The Sound suppressor is also included in this pack.
Once again, we have this kind of unique handguard for you AK lovers. This Galil
style AK nylon fiber handguard provides a nice and firm grip for you, with
optional tactical rail as your choice to mount the things that you want to have,
say battery case or laser?
