long awaited Desert Tigerstripe Enhanced BDUs are in stock. All new items can be

The new Desert Tigerstripe Enhanced BDUs are a the first in a new generation of
uniforms from Bulle. These are made in high-grade pre-shrunk 100% cotton ripstop
which is dyed through for colour fastness. The enhanced BDUs all feature extra
pockets on the arms and lower legs, knee and elbow reinforcement patches which
open with velcro, and drawstring waists and ankle hems. In addition, the Desert
Tigerstripe BDU trousers also have a button waist and zip fly for easier use.
The traditional BDU shirt collar, four bellows pocket jacket design, BDU trouser
with pleated pockets, slash hip pockets and concealed button rear pockets design
are all retained so that the uniforms will fit in with the standard BDU look.
The trousers also feature overlock stitching on the major seams for strength and
durability. The new Desert Tigerstripe BDUs are made to a high standard, with
sizes to fit from Small (36in chest, 31in waist, 65in overall height) to XXL
(54in chest, 48in waist, 74in overall height). Desert Tigerstripe is an
excellent halfway pattern between desert DPM and US Tricolour, and its
semi-official adoption by the US and UK special forces make it a popular camo
with gamers worldwide.

Town Assault 5 - Operation Last Strike
Last Strike - Caerwent ATE
Another round of Town Assault is about to take place at the Army Training
Estates of Caerwent. Only this event marks the end of the Town Assault series of
events. The Coalition forces will pit themselves against the UCLA Rebel
Insurgents for one last time as the climax of the series unfolds at the Caerwent
Army Training Area. Check out the full details at

Caerwent ATE
Caerwent ATE, is a former USAF bomb storage area but is now used as an infantry
training area. The entire estate consists of 400 buildings and around 35 miles
of road network. The training area is located in South Wales and is just a mere
stones throw from the Severn Bridge.
The area being used for the Last Strike event is 1.5km long and nearly 1km wide.
A number of buildings will be in play and many more can be fought around.
However, the area is absolutely huge and is the perfect location for the final
battle to end the series.
The Last Strike Event
The event will be on the 13/14 October 2007 and the entry fee of the event is
£75.
Last Strike will focus on the final UCLA offensive and involves a plot that will
unfold during the course of the weekend where by the Coalition discover the true
intentions of the UCLA at Gechin and must prevent their campaign of terror as
they race against time.
So if you have always wanted to try a Town Assault event but for whatever reason
have not been able to so far, then this could be your final chance.
Game format
This event will be slightly different to previous events in that the game will
not be running continuously for 24 hours. Instead, the game will be broken down
in a number of smaller phases that allow the storyline to unfold over the
weekend. Most phases will last around 3 to 4 hours. Breaks in between the action
will be around 30 minutes long. The exception to this will be between 0000 and
0600, where upon a cease-fire will end offensive actions for 6 hours. But
considering that the sunset is around 1830, that will still leave at least 5
hours of operating in the darkness of Caerwent.
The main reason for the breaks for players to re-group, re-supply, eat, rest and
recieve up to date briefings along with new tasks.
Booking
The booking page will be available during the course of this week, but do not
delay, because previous events have quite literall sold out in a matter of
hours.

Summary
Gechin, a small town in the southern territories of the Ukraine has a growing
insurgency problem. But with so many insurgent elements now appearing in the
south, the Coalition are having to stretch their resources too far to deal with
the ever growing issue.
Gechin is also the home to a reinforced British infantry company, who are tasked
with seizing a newly discovered ULCA munitions dump located within the town
itself. But what they do not know, is that this is no mere coincidence and that
it's presence within the town is all part of a bigger terror campaign about to
be launched by the UCLA (Ukrainian Communist Liberation Army).
With the UCLA expending all their resources on the Gechin plan, this could be
the deciding factor in the intrastate war. Will this final act of aggression be
enough to have the Coalition pull out of their support mission in the Ukraine or
will the Coalition finally defeat the UCLA once and for all. Only you can decide
the fate of both of these forces.

And Now A Word On Gas...
 With
temperatures peaking at over 30 degrees centigrade here in the UK, it looks like
we're finally seeing our first glimpse of summer... so now seems like a sensible
time to remind people of the dangers of Airsoft gas. Most common Airsoft
gases uses propane, especially 'Winter' gas... propane as I'm sure you all know,
is highly combustible. Therefore, it doesn't take much imagination as to
what could happen to a can of Airsoft gas if left in direct sunlight, on the
dashboard of your car for instance... kaboom. In fact, AirsoftNews.eu
covered something not so long ago whereby a can left in someone's car exploded,
and launched itself through the front windscreen.
Exercise caution, as the inside temperature of a
car in summer, can often exceed 40-50 degrees, and pressurised containers can
fail at these temperatures.
Also worth noting, DON'T use 'Winter' gas in your
GBB when it's hot like this outside, you will most probably damage your gun.
Airsoft weapons designed to accept green gas will probably be ok, but it's up to
you if you wish to take that risk, as you will probably invalidate your
warranty.
Flecktarn - August Update
The Webtex MLCE vest is a full body vest with
central zip, over-the-shoulder height adjustment, and left and right lower back
adjustment. The front of the body is covered with MOLLE PALS webbing for
greatest flexibility of positioning of pouches either on the upper chest or
lower waist. The Webtex MLCE vest overlays 50mm wide webbing for the attachment
of traditional PLCE pouches with 25mm wide webbing which is the standard sizing
for MOLLE systems. The vest also comes with an internal holster and long
hydration carrier size pocket on the rear. Webtex MLCE vest is brand new and
comes in at 55.00 GBP.
MLCE pouches are also available for a variety of different uses. Briefly, these
are:
MLCE Double Ammo Pouch (same size as standard PLCE ammo pouch - holds 6xM16
magazines) - 15.00 GBP
MLCE Double AK Ammo Pouch (taller and slightly wider than the standard PLCE ammo
pouch - holds 4xAK magazines) - 15.00 GBP
MLCE Single Pistol Mag Pouch (for a standard or high capacity 9mm, 40 or 45
pistol magazine - holds 1 mag per pouch) - 7.50 GBP
MLCE Water Bottle Pouch (same size as standard PLCE water bottle pouch - can be
used for utilities of all kinds) - 12.50 GBP
MLCE GPS and Radio Pouch (open design allows excellent access to the top of the
radio or GPS for adjusting controls) - 7.50
We are also offering the new Wyvern leg mount ammo pouch which was especially
developed for the Royal Marines deploying to Afghanistan. The pouch holds 4 M16
magazines in a low profile, cushioned package. The pouch is leg mounted to add
ammo capacity without interfering with the new British Osprey armour. Pouches
are made in milspec Cordura and are fully compatible with standard British
equipment.

We also are pleased to announce that we now have the highly popular Bulle Nomex
flight gloves in Tan colour. Previously only available in Olive, these gloves
take the chill out of the air without compromising manual dexterity through the
thin leather palm and fingers. The Nomex material is flash resistant and long
gauntlet helps to hide away wrists and any parts of skin which may become
exposed during normal hand movement. The sizes offered are M, L and XL, and they
are lightly elasticated front and rear to prevent riding with wear.
