23rd December 13:55 Fire-Support New Stock...
Fire-Support now have in stock the brand new, and rather spanky looking M14 SOCOM, along with the new Glock 17 - both offerings are the very latest from Marui, and are set to be very popular on the Airsoft battlefield in 2007. We'll be taking a closer look at these in the New Year. The M14 SOCOM is priced at £280, and the Glock 17 a mere £95. Also back in stock is the MP7A1 and a clever little gadget which allows you to run the MP7A1 from a Marui Pro-light, increasing your overall battery capacity from 500mah to 1100mah - this is priced at £15 and is called the 'Marui pro light terminal adapter'.
23rd December 12:30 We've received a
Christmas Update from Mark at Airsoft Direct...
Christmas Opening Times -
As with most Airsoft retailers, we
will be closed on certain days during the Christmas holiday’s. Here is a list of
the holiday dates coming up, showing whether we are open or closed:
We at Airsoft Direct would also
like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year!
With the recent changes in the law
there has been increasing interest from people in the Republic of Ireland. We
now accept orders from the Republic and have the full range of Royal Mail
Airmail and Surface Mail services for those who wish to order. Simply use the
postal options labelled Republic of Ireland Only!
After the recent shipment we now
have every Volume of the great Airsoft Guide DVD series in stock and ready to
ship. To place an order, simply visit the
Airsoft Guide DVD section
of our website. Postage is now even cheaper as we have added Royal Mail 2nd
Class Recorded for those who are not in a rush. Also should you want to see what
AirsoftGuide is all about or just what the latest Volume has to offer, feel free
to download the trailers from our new
Airsoft Guide DVD Trailer Section.
Recently we have accepted a
large shipment of Airsoft International back issues, which means that we now
have every currently available issue in stock and ready to ship, this includes
the older Volume 1 Issues and the more current Volume 2 Issues. All the magazine
issues that are not present on our website are sold out at Airsoft International
and will not be reprinted, this therefore means that they are no longer
available. The price per magazine is only £4.00 each + P&P, which works out very
good value when you use Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Recorded. If you order more
than 3 magazines at once, we would suggest Royal Mail Standard Parcels as it is
very good value for heavy packages. 22nd December 17:23 Just a quick note to say that dEFCONAirsoft will be accepting and publishing news updates up until 12pm, 24th December. We then 'close' for Xmas, but will 're-open' on the 27th Dec for business as usual. Please feel free however to post news updates to us after the deadline, but they will not get published until the 27th. 17th December 13:35 Fire-support
www.fire-support.co.uk (01733 247171) have received their latest delivery from
STAR.
14th December 17:30 Mike from repairsoft.co.uk has been in touch to put stop to any rumours about the new AEG they're expecting in store shortly... What dEFCONAirsoft have learned about this gun is that it's a high-quality build, expect around 300fps(ish) out of the box, the majority of the build being metal with fake plastic wood furniture. It should be a success with WW2 re-enactors and skirmishers alike. Unlike the TOP MP40, this model uses a V3 gearbox internals, so upgrade parts will be easily accessible, and most of the internals including hop unit are compatible with Marui aftermarket parts. See below for the email we received, and the poster image taken from repairsoft.co.uk 'Hi Steve,
14th December 11:10 We've received in a mailing from Alexander Pettipher, who is the team leader of 'The Dark Night Society' Airsoft team. Visit their quite fancy website and learn more about them by clicking on the banner image above. 6th December 21:10 dEFCONAirsoft wishes you a very Merry Christmas! Tuesday - 19 December 2006 6th December 00:04 Mike from www.repairsoft.co.uk (catchy name!) has been in touch to tell us about his website... Basically repairsoft.co.uk is the UK's first dedicated repairs, spares and upgrade parts website. Tappet plates, nozzles, bearings, bushings, hop-units, spring guides, cosmetic parts etc... the list goes on. Repairsoft.co.uk is still starting up, so stock levels are low at the moment, but more and more product lines will be added over time. Visit the website and see if there's anything that catches your eye. Mike assures us that the 'World Element' parts that they stock, are amongst the very best money can buy... competition for Systema etc? perhaps. 5th December 20:00 Latest update in from the guys at Flecktarn...
1st December 23:20 The keen eyed amongst you may have noticed some slight differences in the appearance of the website. Firstly, we've changed the standard font-size to 10pt for most of the text, to bring us in-line with the web standard, 12pt and 14pt will be used for headings etc... Secondly we've modified a few of the images, and their sizes, including a new logo on the main screen of www.defconairsoft.co.uk welcome page. You may notice a few banner adverts appearing from time to time. These will be as unobtrusive as possible, but are there purely to fund the running of the website - feel free to click on the adverts, they should all be Airsoft related, you never know, you might find yourself a bargain! Many thanks.
