Quite a lengthy update here
from the guys at Flecktarn, with some very exciting new products for their
Winter line-up.

In this update, we now have the Arktis sniper smock, one of the most advanced
jackets for outdoor shooting and combat on the market today in DPM and

outdoor jacket to have whether for military, hunting, shooting, outdoor or

Just in, milspec Nomex Flight Gloves in Olive colour. The Nomex knitted material
is flame retardant and is highly popular with services which work in or near
heat sources or potential heat sources. The palm, fingers and thumb are made of
soft leather so as to minimise dexterity loss when worn. A long gauntlet helps
to minimise draughts and maximise protection. We are pleased to offer probably

Armoured knee pads are now in stock in olive green colour. These high quality
knee pads are made of dense foam which will shape to the wearer's knee with use.

We have three new military products from Magpul Industries in the USA. These
are: the M16/SA80 standard magazine floorplate, the long rail protector and the
full length XT rail panel. The grooved floorplate is in use with parts of the US
Armed Forces as a low profile grip aid, and has proven very effective. The long
rail protector is an essential part of maintaining exposed rails when not in
use, and comes in two different colours to help camouflage the gun. The XT rail
panel fits over rails to provide a grip surface at the front of the weapon and
also helps to protect the rails when not in use. Prices are:

The best selling DPM dump pouch is now available in Desert DPM. Adapted for use
as a drop leg pouch, or as a belt pouch, the dump pouch allows for rapid
disposal of spent magazines and is also useful for utilities which need to be
readily accessible. Made of genuine milspec condura, the pouch is £25.00
The new Bulle ACUs are now in stock. The colouration has been updated to match
the later issue ACUs, and is more vibrant, adding to the efficiency of the
camouflage at breaking up the shape of the wearer. The shirts and trousers are
available in all sizes from S to XXL and the price is £18.00 per shirt and
£18.00 per trouser.
Last, but not least, we have new genuine issue German olive trouser belts. These
top quality belts close with a box buckle with the German hook and loop system
which looks similar to the American box buckle but is far more efficient at
holding together. These belts are low profile and will fit with most standard

We've had a mailing in from

modification for AEGs, check out their news and website below.

We have released an ATC-3B1 Burst Unit with a slightly different configuration
and purpose - the Trigger Bypass Kit (TBK).
Our ATC-3B1 Trigger Bypass Kit (ATC-3B1 T.B.K. or TBK) allows you to replace
standard trigger contacts, and negate the wear on trigger contacts in your AEG,
as well giving all the benefits of a three round burst unit. It can be used in a
preventative manner, or to replace worn or destroyed trigger contacts.
Burst can still be turned off with the flick of a switch so the AEG still fires
in FA.
200 of these units will be produced, and shipped at the the same time as the
ATC-3B1 standard units. There are now less than 140 of these units available.
Also, the ATC-3B1 stocks are running out!
We have less than 100 units left, and are predicting these to sell out very
rapidly. There will be no more units produced unitl mid 2007.

quality sight. The Guarder Elcan (Elken) zoom scope is back in stock, with
crystal clear optics and a very good black rubberised finish.
Any G&P gear from their catalogue can be obtained at great prices so just let us
know what you're after and we can get it, the EBR conversion kits for the M14
will be on the site soon. Gas magazines for the Glock 17 and Glock 19 are back
in stock with us - those magazines also other KSC Glock models such as the Glock
23F. A small number of the excellent and fun wireless claymores will be arriving
with us in the next 2 weeks so if you want to secure one of those in time for
Christmas, order one now.

the 1st of 2 Mil-sim games to be played this year at our site.
The 1st game is on 19th Nov
and the 2nd is on 17th Dec. Cost is £20.
BB's sold on site 2 bags for £15 or 1 for £10.
Only pyros sold on site are allowed to be used, £3 each or 6 for £15.
The main difference between these games and the normal Urban Assault games are
that only standard
and mid cap magazine will be allowed in AEGs and there will be no hire guns
available on these days.
The burger van will be on site as usual.
If you order items from
www.fire-support.co.uk they can be take to the site on Sunday free of
postage charges. Please put on the order that the delivery is required at UA and
the date of the game in the comment field. Please also follow up the order
quoting the order number in an email to us.

We're currently in talks
with fire-support planning an exciting Christmas competition. This one is
going to be slightly bigger than before, with a very exciting prize indeed.
I'm not going to give too many details away just yet, lets just say it will be
worth entering!

UPDATE... - The Competition Is Now Closed!

to bring you a competition to win a 470 round M16 style magazine speed-loader...
All you had to do was locate the mysterious fictional gun that we hid on the
product pages of fire-support.
We had a lot of answers
come through, some of them not correct, which included the Top MP40, the KSC
HK33 and the Classic Army SLR105... All of these are real AEG's. We also
had a lot of correct answers in, and for those of you who didn't manage to find
it, you were looking for this:
Our very own (and
completely made up) 'Classical Army MP5-G3 (Armalite Version)'. The keen
eyed amongst you will notice the gun is a combination of a MP5-A4 Navy, an MC51,
the sliding stock from a MP5-A5 and the carry handle from an M4. Where was it
hidden? Under the product category of Accessories and then Scope, on page
5.
The lucky winner of the
competition was Dan Williams from South London, congratulations Dan. There
should be an email from us in your mailbox!
