A non-locking folding knife with a recognisable Spyderco aesthetic, the byrd® Tern excels in convenience and cutting power.

Spyderco developed the UpTern by adapting its design to a lock-back configuration and drawing inspiration from that synergy. It is a proud member of the Value Folder family and has a full-flat-ground stainless steel blade made of 8Cr13MoV, a textured forefinger choil and thumb ramp, a solid stainless steel handle, a reliable back lock mechanism, and a fully adjustable four-position pocket clip.

Because of its symmetrical form and fully accessible Trademark Round Hole, it is ambidextrous in both carry and use.
