The Cyma CM035 is a compact AKS-74U style rifle, the short-barrelled AK that’s been a firm favourite for close-quarters play for years. The receiver, dust cover, barrel assembly, flash hider and sights are all metal, and the side-folding metal stock takes it from full length to compact in a second.

Inside is a Version 3 gearbox, the standard AK gearbox that’s simple to look after and easy to upgrade later on, firing safe, semi and full auto. The muzzle has a 14mm negative thread for a tracer or mock suppressor, and the short layout makes it a brilliant choice for buildings, vehicles and tight woodland.

Alongside the gun you get a 450-round Cyma AK hi-cap, a 1300mAh 7.4V 25c Big Foot LiPo, a Duel Code B3 Pro balance charger, 4,000 Bushido Master Grade 0.20g BBs and a set of Big Foot tactical goggles. Charge the LiPo, load your mags and you’re ready for your first game. It’s a properly matched setup at a price that’s hard to beat.
