Description
Built around a metal receiver and barrel assembly, the S&T M870 is a medium-length pump-action spring shotgun with genuine natural wood furniture. The fixed stock and ribbed foregrip are oil-finished, giving the replica a front-heavy balance and a tactile feel that differs from polymer or imitation-wood alternatives. Its layout follows traditional law-enforcement styling, and the metal and wood construction gives the shotgun a substantial feel in the hand.
Its single-shot spring-piston system needs no battery or gas propellant. Cocking is carried out with a heavy stroke of the wooden pump, and the design is intended to produce consistent, predictable trajectories. The 6.03mm precision inner barrel supports velocities of up to 400 FPS.
