Description
The A&K M249/LMG Sound Control Box Magazine holds 1500 rounds and is intended for M249 and LMG-pattern airsoft AEGs. It is the sound control variant, supplied in olive drab, so check that your rifle works with a sound control magazine before ordering.
Carrying 1500 rounds on the gun reduces the number of reload breaks in a skirmish, which suits players running an LMG in a support role and keeping rounds going towards the rest of the team. Having a second box magazine means a loaded one is ready when the first runs dry.
The olive drab shell matches an OD-finished M249 build, and as with any magazine it is worth confirming that the A&K box seats and feeds properly in your own rifle before relying on it in a game.
