Description
This is a replacement gas magazine lip and gas rubber router for the DOUBLE 778, supplied for the SIG series of gas magazines. The set covers the two components at the top of the magazine that sit between the gas reservoir and the blowback unit: the magazine lip, which retains the BB stack and locates the magazine in the gun, and the rubber router, which seals the gas outlet when the magazine is seated.
Both are consumable parts. The lip can chip or wear at the feed end, while the rubber router can harden, split or lose its shape with use, which typically shows as poor gas sealing, inconsistent cycling or gas escaping around the magazine junction. Holding spares lets a magazine be put back into service instead of being set aside.
