Description
The LAYLAX Prometheus Non-Linear AEG Upgrade Spring MS90 is an internal power spring for standard AEG gearboxes. Its non-linear, variable-pitch coil design is shaped to ease the load on the motor and gear teeth at the start of compression, which can give a quicker trigger response, lower battery draw and less stress on the gearbox shell.
With the MS90 rating, it provides a mild power level suited to low-velocity builds, indoor CQB sites and fields with strict power limits. In a typical setup it yields around 280 to 300 FPS, depending on the efficiency of the cylinder and compression components. The spring is made from high-tensile, oil-tempered steel wire and is aimed at technicians, repair centres and retailers stocking parts for tuned builds.
