The CRKT Oxcart, created by Robert Carter, has Assisted Opening and a frame lock in a robust stainless steel handle that can withstand a beating.

IKBSTM bearings make opening and closing the blade particularly smooth. The pocket clip is reversible, allowing for both right- and left-handed use.

The Japanese AUS-8 steel, which is robust and extremely resistant to rust, makes the blade easy to sharpen and takes an edge incredibly well.

The Oxcart folding knife, which weighs under 5 ounces, combines robustness with an extremely lightweight build to meet the requirements of a daily carry folding knife.

The Workings of Assisted Opening

The blade is held firmly closed in your pocket, but as you start the deployment and halfway through the rotation, it quickly rotates open for a quick, effective, one-handed opening.
