Description
The LAYLAX First Factory Custom Ambidextrous Magazine Catch replaces the factory right-side-only magazine release on Tokyo Marui M4 Standard AEGs with a dual-sided mechanism. The ambidextrous layout provides a release on both sides of the receiver for use when switching shoulders. It is aimed at left-handed shooters and at right-handed users who transition to the non-dominant shoulder and want to keep reloads efficient during gameplay.
The component is CNC-machined from high-strength steel and aluminium alloy. Its left-side release lever is contoured to sit below the bolt catch interface, helping to reduce accidental magazine drops while providing a clear tactile index point. Fitting is a direct replacement of the original catch. The steel and aluminium alloy build is intended to provide structural reliability under skirmish conditions.
