Description
The LAYLAX First Factory Lightweight Bolt Carrier End is a replacement rear end-piece for the bolt carrier group of the Tokyo Marui M4A1 MWS gas blowback rifle. On the standard assembly this part sits at the back of the carrier, and its weight has to be shifted with every cycle of the action.
Fitting the lighter component lowers the reciprocating mass of the bolt assembly. With less inertia to overcome, the action cycles more quickly and the trigger feels more immediate. The reduced moving mass also means the rifle uses less gas per shot, which helps during rapid semi-automatic strings and in colder weather where gas pressure falls away.
