Description
The LAYLAX Nine Ball Direct Mount Aegis HG Optic Shield protects a micro red dot sight fitted to Umarex / Elite Force Glock GBB pistols. It attaches to the rear sight dovetail on the slide instead of the frame or a rail segment, placing the shield directly in front of the optic.
The shield itself is made from high-impact polycarbonate, intended to take BB strikes that might otherwise damage the lens of an electronic sight. The mounting bracket is CNC-machined from aluminium alloy and given a matte black anodised finish. As the mount sits on the slide, nothing is added to the frame or rail. The design is intended to leave slide balance unaffected and to avoid cycle friction, which suits competitive speedsoft builds and custom pistol work.
