Description
This LAYLAX Nine Ball Aero gas route seal bucking replaces the seal at the magazine-to-nozzle interface on Tokyo Marui Hi-CAPA and P226 Type 2 gas blowback pistols. Factory seals can have a flat or uneven face, letting gas escape sideways as the slide cycles.
The Aero seal has a curved internal channel shaped to follow the curve of the cylinder nozzle. The intention is to reduce leakage at that join and send more of the expanding gas into the loading nozzle, which can help with gas efficiency and shot-to-shot consistency.
LAYLAX moulds it from an oil-resistant rubber compound, described as holding its shape in cold conditions and resisting tearing during rapid fire. Supplied as a two-pack, so there is a spare for another magazine or a later rebuild.
