Description
The LAYLAX Prometheus EG Barrel for AK74U is an internal barrel with a 6.03mm inner diameter and a 260mm length. Laylax produces it as part of the Prometheus EG barrel range, and it is listed for the AK74U platform, where it takes the place of the original inner barrel.
With a stated 260mm length and 6.03mm bore, it gives builders a known size to work from when assembling or refreshing an AK74U gearbox and hop unit combination. Fitting is workshop work, so it is aimed at someone happy to strip the upper receiver and hop assembly rather than at a plug-and-play swap.
- 6.03mm inner diameter
- 260mm length
- Prometheus EG range by Laylax
- Listed for the AK74U
The barrel is listed specifically for the AK74U rather than as a general-fit part, so it is worth confirming both the length and the bore against your existing setup before ordering.
