Description
The LAYLAX Prometheus EG Hard Gear Set 16:1 is an internal upgrade for Version 2 and Version 3 AEG gearboxes. It is intended to replace factory gears in builds where high-voltage batteries and high-torque motors place greater load on the gear train.
The gears are made from a high-tensile steel alloy and receive Japanese heat treatment. The 16:1 ratio is a high-speed configuration: compared with standard 18:1 factory gears, it shortens cycle time and raises rate of fire, with quicker trigger response in semi-auto. Tooth profiles are CNC-ground for consistent mesh and smooth power transfer, and the set is designed to run with reduced operational noise.
