Description
The Prometheus Elite hop-up chamber from LAYLAX is CNC-machined for M4/M16 AEGs using the standard Version 2 gearbox. Instead of a cast zinc or moulded plastic body, it is cut from a block of high-grade aluminium alloy, which holds dimensional tolerances steady and resists the flex and barrel movement that can affect lesser chambers.
Adjustment is handled by a rotary dial with micro-click increments, so the backspin pressure applied to the BB can be set in small steps and is less likely to drift during sustained automatic fire. A locking barrel clip holds the inner barrel in place, and an O-ring stabiliser at the front of the chamber supports the barrel to reduce wobble while forming a seal against the gearbox nozzle.
