Description
This LAYLAX Prometheus Non-Linear AEG Upgrade Spring MS120 (Emerald) is an internal power component for standard AEG gearboxes, designed to raise muzzle velocity and mechanical efficiency. The coil uses a variable-pitch, non-linear winding that is looser at one end and tighter at the other. This reduces the initial rotational strain on the motor and gear teeth at the start of the compression stroke, helping to give a smoother trigger break, lower battery drain and less shock on the gearbox shell.
Rated MS120, it provides a firm power increase and typically reaches around 370 to 400 FPS, depending on how well the cylinder assembly seals and compresses. The spring is formed from oil-tempered steel wire with an Emerald colour-coded protective finish so tension can be identified at a glance on the bench. It suits repair shops, custom builders and stockists.
