Description
The WELL PRO XM5/XM7 MCX Spear Gas Magazine (WG68) is a gas blowback magazine for WELL PRO XM5 and XM7 platforms, and it also suits builds using the Tokyo Marui MWS ZET system. Its exterior follows the shape of the Lancer L7AWM, giving it the larger profile associated with 7.62x51mm/.308-pattern magazines and NGSW-style rifles rather than a standard STANAG casing.
The magazine uses a polymer outer casing around a metal internal gas core. This two-layer construction is designed to act as a thermal buffer, helping to limit rapid temperature swings in the gas core during sustained fire.
For reloads, the WG68 has a rapid-loading system with a removable tracking tube. It also includes a last-round bolt hold-open actuator, reinforced high-flow output seals and pressure valves.
