Description

Is there a cooler gun than the MP5? Possibly one of the best gas MP5s ever made and certainly one of the most popular and successful gas airsoft sub machine guns of all time. As it is a VFC product then quality is certain.

It is iconic, and not iconic in the way of the AK47 (where I would argue that is prolific), but with a cool factor that only comes from H&K guns. Even better, this replica is gas blowback, making it the most realistic MP5 ever produced in airsoft. Especially given it has H&K’s stamp of approval, as well as official trademarks!

From the moment you pick this beast up, you’ll be in love. It has a serious heft for such a compact gun, that makes it feel even better. You have the stamped steel (steel, not “metal” – proper steel) upper receiver to thank for the weight, as well as the collapsible stock. The lower is constructed out of high quality plastic (the same as the real steel version), and thanks to the exceptional tolerances from Umarex, this piece feels rock solid. There is almost no rattle at all, just pure satisfaction!

So what’s the V2? This revisit to the GBBR platform brings some serious improvements – empty magazine detection, 3-round burst, and improved recoil. Despite being a pistol caliber (in real steel), this replica kicks hard! Every shot will bring a smile to your face, and if you’re not grinning ear to ear from the 3 round burst, well…I’m not sure what will bring you happiness!

The MP5 has been featured in most video games, virtually every show where there is a SWAT team, and in countless films – it is instantly recognisable, and for good reason – it’s a beautiful gun! Beauty is only skin deep, but the good stuff goes right to the core of this beast. As a GBBR, it is extremely realistic, and features high quality internals. You will need to carry out regular maintenance e.g. cleaning/regreasing, so you are sure to appreciate just how refined this replica is.
