Description
The Desert Eagle L650AE is a gas blowback pistol from Magnum Research Inc., built by WE and offered through Cybergun. This one is the blue finished version, listed under product code 950509 — useful if you are ordering a magazine, holster or spare part and need to match it to the correct variant.
Because it runs on gas with a blowback action, the slide cycles as the pistol fires, which gives a different feel on the range compared with a non-blowback or spring sidearm. Output will vary with the gas you choose, the temperature on the day and the condition of your magazines, so it pays to keep them clean and lubricated.
The blue finish is what marks this example out, and the pistol carries the Magnum Research Inc. Desert Eagle name on the body. That makes it as much a display piece for a collector as a working sidearm for a skirmisher.
