Description
A spare magazine for the ARES AW338, supplied under the AW-78 designation. It has a full metal body and a 78-round capacity, so it can serve as a replacement for the magazine that came with the rifle or as an extra to carry with you.
Keeping a loaded magazine to hand means a reload does not have to end your turn on the position you have set up in. It is the magazine pattern ARES lists for the AW338, so it fits in place of the original.
If you use the AW338 regularly, a second magazine is a practical thing to have in the kit bag. It lets you swap in a fresh magazine between engagements rather than stopping to reload the one you have, and it gives you a fallback if the original is mislaid.
