Description
The ARES M16 “MEGA MAG” is a wheel-wound high-capacity magazine intended for M4 and M16 pattern rifles, supplied in a tan finish. It holds up to 900 BBs, so you can stay in the fight longer between magazine changes.
Construction is polymer. The feed system is a clockwork mechanism, wound by turning the wheel at the base of the magazine, in the same way as a conventional wheel-wound high-cap. The winding wheel sits at the bottom of the magazine.
The magazine is built for rifles that take M4/M16 pattern magazines. With 900 rounds on tap, it is aimed at players who would rather carry one large magazine than swap between smaller ones during a skirmish. Given that capacity, allow for pouch space when planning a loadout.
