Guarder Ball Bearings Spring Guide for Ver.2 Gearboxes

Description

This GUARDER spring guide is intended for Version 2 gearboxes and uses a ball bearing arrangement at the rear of the assembly. The part keeps the mainspring aligned with the piston and gives the spring a face it can rotate against as it compresses, instead of bearing on a fixed surface.

It is manufactured from steel and weighs 28 g. Fitting follows the usual pattern for a Ver.2 spring guide: the gearbox must be opened, so GUARDER has made this for players and technicians building or refreshing a Version 2 gearbox rather than for a drop-in swap.

Guides of this type are normally installed with the gearbox open, as the part determines how the spring seats at the rear of the shell. Check that it suits your gearbox and spring before assembly.
