Description
The LAYLAX Stainless Steel Inner Barrel is a 363mm internal upgrade for AEG Type W builds, machined from stainless steel with a 6.03mm tight-bore inner diameter. The Type W designation refers to the widened hop-up window, which is cut to accept flat-hop, R-hop and other large-surface buckings and tensioner nubs without pinching the rubber, so a longer contact patch can apply consistent backspin to the BB.
Because the bore is tighter than a standard barrel, the air volume behind the BB is concentrated as it travels, which helps stabilise the flight path and tighten groupings at distance. Stainless steel is chosen over the brass typically fitted as standard: it resists corrosion and holds its shape, avoiding the flex and vibration that can affect thin brass tubes.
