Description
The ARES Amoeba Sound Suppressor mounts on ARES MSR (SCAR) series rifles via the three-pronged flash hider instead of a conventional threaded barrel. A quick detach mechanism secures the unit at the muzzle and allows it to be taken off again, and the same fitting suits the three-pronged flash hider used on the 2015 ARES AMOEBA AM-009.
Construction is CNC aluminium. Overall length is 235 mm, diameter is 38 mm and the unit weighs 250 g. It is an external muzzle accessory that changes the profile of the rifle’s front end, and because it attaches straight to the flash hider, no thread adapter is required.
