Description
The COLT XM177E1 Lightning Series is a gas blowback airsoft rifle modelled on an early Vietnam-era commando carbine. It is an officially licensed replica produced through a collaboration between COLT, EMG and CYMA, and it runs on the CYMA Gas System (CGS). That system is built for cross-compatibility with Tokyo Marui MWS ZET System parts.
The externals follow the E1 pattern: an upper receiver with an integrated carry handle and no forward assist, slimline round handguards, a two-position telescoping stock and the elongated XM177 moderator flash hider. Inside, the CGS engine uses a steel-reinforced fire control matrix. The rifle is aimed at collectors who want period-correct details and at players who want a gas platform with a current internal design.
