About the Tokyo Marui Bodyguard 380 Gas Pistol
One of the most recent small arms or compact carry gas guns to leave the Tokyo Marui factory is the Bodyguard 380, which is based on the Smith & Wesson design. The actual steel Bodyguard 380 is made to be a comfortable and practical platform for delivering personal defence. The Bodyguard 380 is presented elegantly in a black top box with an image of the handgun, as with other Tokyo Marui airsoft weapons. The handgun, the magazine, and the customary tiny box of Tokyo Marui extras are all contained inside the package. The user manual is concealed behind the foam that holds the box’s contents in place during shipping and transportation on the underside of the box lid.
The Bodyguard 380 from Tokyo Marui does not dissapoint. It is a terrific small airsoft pistol even though it is an NBB or Non-Blow Back Fixed Slide gas pistol with a fixed hop-up. In addition to its size, the weight of this handgun will catch your attention right away. Tokyo Marui employed internal metal components, which increased the weight of the handgun overall and gave it a very substantial feel.
The metal magazine clicks in easily. It is more comfortable to grasp or grip the pistol since the base of the magazine doubles as a finger rest or acts as an extension of the pistol grip. To aid grip the pistol grip is textured. The performance of the Bodyguard 380 with 0.2g BBs and green gas is excellent and given the length of the barrel, the grouping and accuracy are both quite good.
Another point worth highlighting is that the pistol is non-blowback, which makes it very quiet and different from other larger NBBs like the MK23, which has a longer trigger travel. The Bodyguard’s trigger is also quite fast, allowing for quick follow-up rounds. The Tokyo Marui Bodyguard 380 is a fantastic little pistol and it feels quite solid despite being so tiny. Excellent performance makes this the best backup handgun for your backup pistol.
